1. Online Shopping

1.Online shopping – In most areas the panic is worse than the virus itself, many grocery shelves are empty no water, fresh meat, and dont even think about toilet tissue. Rest assured the supply chain for the items being sold out of in the stores are in good supply and being expedited to your stores. Don’t forget about online shopping instead of having to go out into the store and risk getting or spreading the Corona virus. Here a few links of the big guys who are still offering online shopping and pick up in store. Walmart Sams Club Vons and of course  a few of the well knows like Amazon and Instacart

2. Coronavirus Online and App Scams

Beware !! the United States government has made this the number one priority for law enforcement. The number of online scams, price gouging and app scams have gone through the roof. Some things to look out for.

  1. Phishing Scams

seem personalized and can come form anywhere most notably email, text, and phone calls. Don’t give any information to any website or online caller until you have verified their identity. more info on how to do that can be found here.
  2. Fake Advertisements

Don’t believe or click on every thing you read. Verify the source and the info from multiple reputable sources. if it seems too good to be true, it often is. There are many reports of people being scammed out of money for products they will never receive.
  3. Dangerous Sites and Apps

have popped up overnight lots of them offering things like a Coronavirus locator or  even a digital test for COVID-19 these apps are scams and can carry a virus or leave your devices  data vulnerable for harvesting or worse.
